Winter Art Room 15

Room 15 have been busy creating some wonderful winter themed art.          


Toy Show Room 15

Countdown to Christmas has officially begun with the Late Late Toy show hitting our screens again. Room 15 were very excited and decided to kick things off with a toy show of their own. Everyone got to bring in a toy and present it to the class. We had great fun!


Let’s Go School Tour!

The children of 2nd class enjoyed a great day at the Let’s Go Summer Camp at Kilcullen on June 8th. Cinema trip

Second class were kindly treated to a morning at the cinema by our fantastic Parents Association to mark the celebration of their First Holy Communion. Children were brought by their teachers and some members of the P.A. to the Odeon Cinema in the Whitewater Shopping Centre. Upon arrival  they were given popcorn, jellies and a drink each. Rm 15 World Book Week.

We had a poetry reading in our class. We all got a chance to read our poems aloud. We chose one winner to represent us at assembly at the end of the week. We dressed up as our favourite characters on Friday.  


Polish Easter Tradition

Kasia, the mother of Olivia (Rm. 16) visited the school on Wed. March 16th to talk at assembly about the lovely Polish tradition of bringing a basket of food to the church for blessing on Holy Saturday. The basket contains samples of food such as bread, eggs, sausage and salt, and is lined with a lace napkin and decorated with spring greenery. This food

Halloween Stories

Room 5 were very busy before Halloween creating stories to read to second class. They wrote and illustrated some very spooktacular stories called Larry the Hypnotizing Horror, The Adventures of Second Class and Crickle Thorn, Bad Weather, The Adventures of Air Max, Fiddle Me Tea, Attack of the Vegetable Monster and The Island Monster.
