Cross Country Race Day

An excellent day spent at the Cross Country Competition today in The Centre of Excellence, Hawkfield. Rapunzel Cover Art Competition

St. Conleth’s Pantomime Troupe run a programme cover art competition each year in various schools around the Parish. Children in 5th & 6th classes get the chance to create a piece of artwork representing the show. A winner is chosen from each school and then from among those winners one piece becomes the cover of the pantomime programme. This year’s show Rapunzel generated lots

6th Class Cool Dudes Food Programme

St. Conleth & Mary’s are very lucky to working with the HSE on the Cool Dudes food preparation and practical nutrition programme again this year. So far Mr. O’Sullivan and Ms. Nugent’s classes have taken part and Ms. Gill’s class will complete their sessions in the coming weeks. Cool Dudes is designed to teach children about how to keep their bodies healthy through their diet.

Room 7 made a big effort with their Halloween Costumes today. Thank you to everyone for all their hard work. It was a hard decision but eventually it was decided that Anna White and Alex Grogan had the best costumes in the class.
