Cross Country

  Mrs. Dooley, Ms. Gill and Mr. Dooley have taken charge of our cross country team. They have had great interest and attendance at training and a team will be picked to represent our school in the cross-country competition in Hawkfield next month. Well done and best of luck to all involved.

Let’s Get Active!

We are working hard to introduce more activity into our day!  “Walk while you Talk” at break times. Children are being encouraged to move around the yard as they are chatting at break times. Ionad Spraoi le Chéile: Each class gets an allocated time to use our ionad spraoi (playground). Senior classes are allocated a time during break times to add diversity into their activity

Athletics Day:5th & 6th class

Mark from K-Leisure returned to us again before the Christmas holidays and took charge of our senior classes for an athletics action day. Everyone had great fun and Mark kept all of the children moving, hopping, dodging, jumping and laughing. Well done to all of the classes for their enthusiasm and participation!   “Don’t just sit, go get fit”      


Santa Dash Training in full swing!

We are gearing up for our first ever “Santa Dash” this Christmas. Classes are busy training for the event which will take place later this term. Classes are busy clocking up laps to help reach the target of 3km on the day. Its been great to see so many classes getting out and moving. Best of luck to all and looking forward to seeing

Athletics Action Day: 2nd-4th classes

We had great fun at our Athletics Action Day. Mark from K-Leisure Naas, arrived with plenty of energy and enthusiasm to get our junior classes up and running. He gave some great ideas for improving our athletics skills including dodging, running, skipping, jumping etc. It was great fun and well done to our 2nd-4th classes for their great participation!
