On Monday the 14th of May our three sixth classes were invited to visit Old Connell Stud. They were shown around by manager David Brophy. They got to see the stable yard, where the horses are exercised, the machinery and a farrier in action. They also got to meat Mario and Luigi, two goats the farm uses to keep horses company if they’re nervous. The classes also watched a video about the Godolphin racing business and received a goody bag.
Here are some photos from the day.
