Pancake Tuesday

Room 14 had a great time making pancakes and choosing a variety of toppings for the Pancake party including butter, sugar, lemon juice, chocolate spread and cream.


Chinese New Year

Room 14 celebrated Chinese New Year. We looked at the Chinese calendar and learnt that 2016 is the year of the Monkey. We made Chinese lanterns as part of our art lesson. Shane and Aoife found some interesting information about the Chinese New Year.


Fourth Class Trip to Dublin

Halloween Stories

Room 5 were very busy before Halloween creating stories to read to second class. They wrote and illustrated some very spooktacular stories called Larry the Hypnotizing Horror, The Adventures of Second Class and Crickle Thorn, Bad Weather, The Adventures of Air Max, Fiddle Me Tea, Attack of the Vegetable Monster and The Island Monster.
