Kathleen Lonsdale —Amazing local scientist!

Local history and Science! Kathleen Lonsdale was born in Charlotte House in Newbridge in 1903. She did extensive work in x-ray crystallography leading to the development of x-ray technology used in hospitals around the world. She was also a firm advocate of women’s suffrage and a committed pacifist.
